 :( recently i had the water pump on my caddy replaced, ever since then the temp gauge on the dash has been just a little higher than normal, normal meaning it never rose above the half way point EVER! now, it sits between the half and next mark. i took it back to the mechanic shop that did it and they checked, as i watched, the temp that there scan tool shows is about 225F before the fans kicks on, low only. they checked the relays, the coolant was good, they ever replaced the coolant temperature sensor. there are telling me that this is normal but i want more opinions on this. anyone ever had this happen to your car? please help worried about the engine running hotter than normal.

Because you probably need to bleed the air purge line, which is connected to the coolant expansion tank. You can us a MightVac to suck any debris out of the line. You could have air in the system and if the purge line is blocked it won't bleed out.
