Just bought the new Kenwood KAC 9104D hooked up to a Directed Audio SX12D4 sub. The sub is wired to 2 Ohms, which means it will put 900 Watts continuous to it. Needless to say, it's loud. Loud enough for me anyway. Next step is a custom enclosure.

Any of you guys have experience with Kenwood amps? Quality/ longevity/etc.? I'd appreciate the input.

the kenwood amps are good. i've had a few and they lasted quite a while. the sub i'm not to familiar with. what it comes down to really is, do you like the way it sounds? if not then there are a lot of other things you can do to make it sound just the way you want it to.
