hey guys my lil red battery light always shows up in my dash and drives me nuts, but if you start and stop the car a few times a day, it goes out..? It is getting 14.1 volts and has a new plug on the alt so give me some direction please!! thanks!

Usually means the Alt is going.. At least that's what has happened to all three of my Marks when the Alts died.

Once that little guy came on it wasn't long.

Is your battery getting recharged? How long has the light been coming on?

My lights been on for over 3 months. Battery tested at 14 or higher every time i go to autozone, so idk

It goes on and stays on if i go to work *5 miles* but if i do alot of stop and go pickups then it goes out? Still charges great so what the heck!

the sennsor malfunctioning

I have the same problem in my marquis. Been doing it for at least 1 1/2 months.
