i keep getting these same codes. sometimes it takes a week or two sometimes a day or two for them to come back. cant find a list to tell me what the really mean either. 1506 and 0460. i have a 2000 v6 5speed. just put this engine in and it runs great but im still getting these like i did on my last two motors. need to fix these before fun can begin......:nos: and where do i look to find out which rear gears i have also. thanks

Look on the pumpkin. It should tell the gears right on it :D

thanks. i guess now the question is what is causing the idle overspeed error. i have a brand new iac on it and a new mass air. what else could be the culprit? the fuel level has been an issue for a while i will fix that when i swap to the fordgt fuel pump.

I don't even know what an Overspeed error means so I have no clue. I would start by making sure the seal around the IAC is not broken and that it is tightly bolted to the throttle body. Also make sure the port leading into the throttle body is clean, and clear of buildup.
