When I bought mine the past owner had already done the conversion.

Smooth ride and hassle free according to what I read on the boards a lot of people have problems with their air ride systems.

Just my 2 cents..

got mine from strutmasters...lowered about 1 and a half inches, added new sway bar...love the ride, only miss the auto leveling with heavy loads, but how often do you really load your mark down or tow with it check out the link below :Beer

Its not all about heavy loads. Its also about road conditions. . .

i realy wish i had when my front bags went. i was contemplating it, but just before i pressed the "buy" button, mom rushed in being irrational, not knowing that you CAN swap em. many problems ever since. if i ever buy another early air ride car, the first thing im gonna do is get springs.

I see no problem in resurrecting an old thread if it has relevance...I actually am seriously considering converting back over to air ride...not on top of my list as I write but is something I plan on doing as I get closer to getting my car back to its well deserved glory.

Somethings ahead of the reswap:

1. Fix Idle problem (most likely a fuel pressure issue)
2. Fix oil filter gasket leak (only leaks at start up & only when been Parked an extended period of time)
3. Fix drivers door handle
4. Install Trans brake
5. Install headers
6. Dress up engine
7. Have car dyno tuned
8. retint windows (can someone recommend a good tint %)
9. Get some door dings fixed
10. Reinstall air ride system

I'm gonna assume your kidding Phil. Clearly if you look at post 7 and the post 8(yours) the date on 7 is Jan. 2005. Number 8(your post) is Jan. 23 2011. You are the offender sir, but its ok. At least you are not posting threads asking chit that has been covered. So bring em back from the dead all you want.
