Man I must be old and I must have been under a rock for a while. What happened to OGC, Masta Ace, etc...etc and real Hip Hop ( not to be confused with (C)RAP )?

Now everything has to be Dirty be it from down south or even up here on the East. What happened to good old Urban East Coast Hip Hop?

I think its just that shetty rap has been produced in the last 6-8 years. There are still artists producing excellent rap/hip hop. Take for one example, AZ. Maybe in terms of Lil Wayne rap gone down the crapper.
