Hi guys, I'm looking at purchasing a 93 eldo with some trans problems, hoping you guys can tell me it's something common and cheap to fix. Here is what he says...
Beautiful 1993 Caddy. 32v. Northstar, 4.6 liter, 300hp. 33k miles on the motor, dealership replaced it because it was still under warranty. I was told that it may have a bad solenoid or sensor in the trans which causes it to stick in 3rd gear.
I'm assuming the motor was replaced because of head gaskets at ~100k if it was under warranty, but I don't know anything about these cars. Does this sound like anything you recognize? Thanks for the help.
Oh, while I'm here, does $1500 sound like a deal on this car, it looks sharp in the picture, it's white if that helps. Hopefully something relatively cheap to fix.
