my moonroof doesnt have the mid stop. if you put it to vent and bring it down it will just go directly to open (back all the way) with that i dont know if there is a bad seal cause it leaks toward the front (i screwed around and got it to stop for now) also if it does need a seal where can i find one? more importantly how can i get it to work correctly? Anything much appriciated!!

Hi!
My 93 Did The Same....No Set Stop......I Used A Marker On The Inside to Mark The Glass & A Set Spot When It Was Closed Shut With No Leaks......Everytime After When The Marks Lined Up I Knew The Moonroof Was Closed Securely & Weathertight.....Hope This Trick Helps!!!!
Also I Lubricated Every Month During Summer The Moonroof Gasket With WD-40 By Wiping The Entire Gasket To Keep It Flexable......
Good Luck & Best Wishes!

That's what I thought silocone ... will not WD40 eat the rubber over time?

Rich is correct, WD 40 will corrode rubber, yes. Silicone and rubber are the best match.
Good info, my seal shrunk too and I need a new one to install around the outside. Great thread and great pics. Thanks!
