I have a weird issue going on. I can be driving down the street at normal speeds an my trac loc will sundenly come on??? Whats going on??? Any ideas?

Mark VIIIs never came from the factory with trac lok.

The ABS system doubles as a traction assist on some models. If that's what you're referring to, then it could be low air in the tires, or a dirty/faulty ABS sensor.

Your right... sorry for the confusion... Tires are fine... is the sensor on the rear end next to the pumkin??? Cant remember.

Sometimes I feel like a complete idiot. Last week, I was re-routing some wires on the harness under the dash (where Rays kit ties in) and I unplugged the harness. I forgot to plug it back in. After I posted the thread earlier today, I was messing with the car and suddenly remembered I had not heard the compressor running at all. Plugged it back in and problem is fixed.

It would be great to meet at some central illinois shows. My car is getting some touch up work next week (bumper, grill, front and rear hoods and rear bumper paint), so I should be ready. Also have an engine on the stand that I am going to start on. PM with a list of shows.

Your painting the trunk lid? I painted it about a week before you bought it. That and the roof. The paint on the whole right side of the car was only about 6 months old. I hope it turns out good. Id love to see it in perso.

The paint on the trunk is fine... its the 13 little dings from my son chipping the ice off with an ice scraper. The clear is starting to peal on the front hood.
