I wouldn't say that I care for it too much, but I do like the work put into it.
slowmkviii April 12th, 2008, 06:20 PM IMO The wheels are 4-5" to big and not good looking but I do like the fact that the car is being loved
kustomizingkid April 12th, 2008, 06:31 PM Not my thing, but it looks like the work is quality.
JMiles_T April 12th, 2008, 07:21 PM This is one of the rare times I can say 'good job' when it comes to custom painting these cars.
buddylee April 12th, 2008, 08:47 PM I don't how anyone could say anything bad about that car Over All,
the paint looks like it could belong to kevin harvick
who ever did this paid top dollar and it shows !
k9t8m April 12th, 2008, 09:19 PM The car looks great.

Ditto, It looks great! Everything just comes together so nicely.
turborich April 13th, 2008, 02:31 AM Personally I think the wheels are a bit too big. It's not my cup of tea, however you can tell that the workmanship is very good & the guy really loves his car!
I think that for the type of set up he was going for it turned out great! I like that fact that everything looks nice & clean. There's a couple dollars put into that Mark VIII!!!
jamie97lsc April 13th, 2008, 03:28 AM i like it because its different and quality was shown throughout, personally anything over 18 inch on a mark VIII i think looks stupid. even if the wheels were good looking, they are way to big, if it had some 18's on it, it would be one of the slickest marks i ever saw. i totally dig the car, very nice inside and out, but has to lose the " dubs " that kills it for me.
mespock April 13th, 2008, 08:32 AM Lot's of work but not my taste.. Rims have to go... really don't understand why people like the wagon wheels...
Paint looks like quality but I'm not a two tone person...
Somone did do a lot of work.
Just not my thing...
crownvicjim April 13th, 2008, 09:12 AM i like the paint. looks good. and with some 18's it would look great.nice way to two tone it. well thought out.
chickenviii April 13th, 2008, 10:05 AM the paint looks decient, i love the interior!! any i agree those wagon wheels are way too big
ONEBADMK8 April 13th, 2008, 10:49 AM Eeeeekk thats a vomit comet!! PUKE!! Great workmanship I am sure but man when you see things like this it makes you say "What in the holy hell were they thinking?". Thats butt ass ugly.
96hotrodlincoln April 13th, 2008, 12:42 PM I don't like it, honestly I think the overall design would have looked better on a Gen1, the Gen2's are just more a classy design in my opinion. The Gen1's had a little more sporty look to them. I don't care for anything over 18's on our cars, don't care for the lambo doors, just doesn't look right on these cars, the paint is different, I don't much care for the two tone on the hood. I like the idea of the custom air ride. I'd like to know if he used stock struts and bags.
And is that ostrich on the seats, with suede?
Also, if he was going to go to the trouble of painting the interior pieces, you think he could have all least filled in the chips around the defrost bezel with some bondo and sanded it smooth before painting it.
ONEBADMK8 April 13th, 2008, 01:20 PM Look how baggy the seat covers are at the side bolster area???
shiryu0 April 13th, 2008, 01:33 PM stock motor.........
i still dont understand why people waste money just on looks. the wheels are WAY too big.....seats are UGLY.....wonder how slow it is lol :D
turborich April 13th, 2008, 02:10 PM Yes, the seats are a bit loose looking & the wheels are too big (My oppinion)
It's not the style of many Mark VIII owners on this site because some of us are more into the performance side of things, Then there are the guys who like the bling such as the owner of this mark.
For the way he chose to go with the car (the bling style) I think that it's a great example of a clean & VERY WELL CARED FOR MARK VIII. After all it could have just another mark VIII with blown air bags & dents all over it rolling down the street on it's way to the pick a part!
With the exception of the wheel size & the wrinkles in the seats, This Mark VIII is very nice & very well cared for. I think that we should be saying how nice it is when a owner puts this kinda work into their Mark VIII.
I think the paint is very nice & looks sharp. Maybe someone could photoshop it with some 18" or 20" cobra R's. It would look really hot!
Just think, he could have done this to it!!!!!!!

Oh come on Joey, it's got a pool in the back, you can't tell me that you've never wanted a car with a pool in the back!
My question is, with my driving style, how would I get the water to stay in the pool???
escalado1 April 14th, 2008, 03:14 PM Here are some updated pictures for you. The dash piece was re-done some time ago, the doors do provide enough space to get in and out without lamboing them. The graphics go through the door jams, trunk jams and hood jams. This was not an LSC model. I scored new ford headlights, chrome under them, new grill, new metal window track (old ones were rusted and bubbled), new side molding (3 pieces for each side) and some used tail lamp and center lamp combos with an aftermarket ballast. Also added trans cooler, replaced accumulator springs and did the j-mod. Nothing done to the motor other than a K&N. The subs in the trunk are actually 3-10's. All leather interior with suede and vinyl red strip. Seat heaters and coolers added aftermarket. K-40 undetectable laser jamer radar detector. Suede on the headliner. Tinted windshield 50% sides and back 80%. Satelite radio, Pioneer navigation DVD player, one Kicker 5-Channel, Rockford components, extra battery.

escalado1 April 14th, 2008, 03:36 PM Air ride setup is ported arnott replacement struts chopped to make them go lower. The front struts that were with the car were ford replacement but the sides were plastic. 2600lb bags in the back, 1/2" line 1/2" up valve 3/8" down. I have had 3 of these cars with various altered height setups. From stock ported front and rear bags with a scuba tank and regulator and a manifold block to what I run now.

kustomizingkid April 14th, 2008, 09:35 PM You did a very quality job on that car!
chickenviii April 14th, 2008, 09:45 PM it is a good job. just im iffy on 2 tone markviii's, but i do like the side view of the car the hood just doesnt seem to "fit" with the 2 tone maybe charcoal like the rest of the front end and i defiantly would loose all that chrome and go to lsc trim
mannieg April 15th, 2008, 12:01 AM you Got a Sweet looking car man, Its definitely different than anything I've ever seen and at the end of the day thats what having a custom car is all about, your personal touch of style and Independence.
turborich April 15th, 2008, 01:53 AM Your car is very nice as stated before! The mods you have done make it 100% yours! All of the work looks to be top notch. Take care of that Mark!!! It is very obvious that you love your car.
poniesviii April 15th, 2008, 11:09 AM Nice ride. I'd like to pick at it but I can't.. I definately drive the hell out of my car. Everything you've done that would keep me from driving it the way I do.. is.. well, it's not my driver. So it's pretty nice. You've done a great job.
Joeychgo April 15th, 2008, 01:20 PM I like the pain alot... You have alot of great work done there, high quality work. Welcome to LVC. We're glad to have you.
