Nothing from the manufacturer at this time. We had been discussing them making the entire side marker assembly so that there would not be any cutting of the original lens assemblies. They have not got back to me on this yet. However, they have 10 sets of the clear turn signals done and I should get them anytime.

Any word on the smoked lenses?

Ken - what makes up the whole side marker assembly? I always just thought it was a lens and a bulb and not much else.

Clear ones are the way to go...

you mean a saftey? You shouldn't have to if your bulb is amber.

As I understand it, to pass state emissions and safety inspection you have to have an amber reflective piece on both sides of the front of the car.

I got almost the same 20" Zinik Wheels w/245/35/20 Tires, however, I am having problems when I hit a dip on the road. Keeps hitting the frame. Put Spacer on the Springs and did not work. Can you please let me know how to fix these problem.

i do hardly ever rub, only when i'm carrying more than 2 people in the back (which hardly ever happens) but you might want to try rolling your fenders. that would be my first step. pm to follow this topic if you'd like, don't want to take over someone elses thread here

Any word on the smoked lenses?
Due to the inconsistent process of tinting we will no longer carry the smoke colored lenses. Basically, they could not get every set of lenses the same color which became a problem if someone needed a replacement lens.

The lenses we had been selling were just the top part of the assembly. Bascially, you would have to cut the top of the amber lens off to adhere the clear lens. You can view the installation guide here to see what I'm talking about:

http://www.lskoncepts.com/ClearSideMarkerInstall.pdf

If the company makes the entire assembly it will be just the whole complete assembly with the metal retaining clip. The bulb will NOT come with it. You just reuse the existing bulb or get another color.

Will they come assembled already? Might be better to get them unassembled, so a customer could paint the inside of the housing...

I have been thinking about getting a set over the last few days when they come in but I was uncertain of having to do the cutting.

This sounds like such a better way to go and will make for a more professional item.

Count me in on a set. Have you thought about the inside coloration like one mentioned?

Only ten sets? Just curious, but are they making these things by hand? If they have a mold, it seems like they would be able to pop these things out in no time.

I agree, the full housing sounds like the better route.

Just take the lense out and use a chromium 3157 bulb.

ken, is there a waiting list or is it whomever goes to your site first and pays gets them?

steagle

a presale would be nice - then that upfront money could go towards manufacturing costs

i would buy a set preassembled even though I already have some on my car.
