Hello,
I have had my car for about a year now, and just found this site today.
I have a 2001 Lincoln LS Sport. For the past few days the yellow engine light has been on on my dash. The owners manual says to fill the tank, and drive it a few times, and if it stays on to have it checked. Any ideas of what I'm looking at before I call the mechanic? Sorry for the long post, any help would be great.
Thanks
Kevin

go to AutoZone and have them pull the PCM error code with their ODBII tool. Then take that code to: http://www.obdii.com/codes.asp it will tell you what the problem is.

Their tool cannot always read the specific Lincoln (Ford) if it is an extended sensor - but it's worth a shot.
