I read somewhere that the LS targets people in the age range of 30-50, was just curious to how accurate this information was.
So don't be shy and post your age! :D

So don't be shy and post your age! :D I'm 26. The LS was targeted to the 30-50 age range when they were brand new, as they were in a price range that reflected a salary that someone in that age range would be able to afford, yet the car was still 'sporty' enough to not be considered your typical Lincoln(think, old blue haired handicapped driver). Most of your 30-50 yr old buyers can afford a $40k car no problem. Thats why Lincoln targets them. May LS owners are second or third owners at this point. I picked mine up 2002 used as a lease return. Let the other sucker take the 40% depreciasion hit. 01lssport March 29th, 2008, 01:48 AM 31 years young... had the LS back when gas was 1.95 a gallon! That was the point. Is kinda hard to poll on Lincoln's targeted buyers when most of them have already traded or sold the car and moved on. :p Obviously as a car gets older it will cost less and a younger generation of buyers will be able to afford it. beechcraft11 March 30th, 2008, 12:47 AM 18...dad bought it when he was 50 MMAFIGHTER121 March 30th, 2008, 09:11 AM 24. got nothing witty to add beyond that. union807trucker March 30th, 2008, 10:10 AM 21 8k 76k miles buddybear March 30th, 2008, 07:29 PM 58 2002 LS 8 My best ride so far. exceptionaLS March 31st, 2008, 03:20 AM 21 Outkast March 31st, 2008, 11:45 AM 30 PhatDominican143 March 31st, 2008, 01:27 PM 22 LS8 March 31st, 2008, 01:30 PM Wow the majority of the crowd is younger than I thought. steagle March 31st, 2008, 03:42 PM 27, purchased used at 25. came from the Honda world. i still want my S2000, but the LS will do for now :D Nyt_Muves March 31st, 2008, 05:02 PM 36 LS8 goes great with my BULLITT... rickster1er March 31st, 2008, 05:17 PM Bought it right before I turned 17...I am now 21...and paid off!! I've wanted the car in a bad bad way since its concept came out, and have been dreaming of the day I could own one. I've always been a Lincoln man, it's just that for a long time the best I could afford was mid-80's Towncars (love those things), then I bought a Dodge (LS was still too much money for me in '03), and now have my LS. The best part is that I got pretty much the exact LS I wanted, for an awesome price. Black on black w/out all the silver trim bits (have '03 V8 Sport). pagluy April 23rd, 2008, 03:15 PM Wow the majority of the crowd is younger than I thought.
