I am having trouble finding the info I want so I'll just start a new thread. I have some tranny issue's with my mark and don't want to mess with it. If I am going to pull it out to rebuild it I would justas soon replace it or order one that is already rebuilt. I was wondering what performance auto tranny's you guys were running. I have looked at some from blue oval but haven't really seen anything else other than whats on ebay that i don't trust. I am also considering swapping in a manual tranny. I know that mike has done it with a t45. It was in my garage it happend. I am looking at possibly swapping in a complete 03 cobra drivetrain or getting a tr6060, 3650 or t56. The complete drivetrain probably won't happen because of cost issue's and the wife, but eventually I will have a supercharged mark and want to make the right tranny choice now.

This the place I would go for all your 4r70w needs. Darrin is an awesome guy, I'm running his valve body in my vic, and will buy a tranny from him when the time comes. Darrin and Lonnie are actually located by each other, and Darrin builds the trannys that Lonnie sells.

does anyone know where to get the 4r70w specs at. I am talking with tremec and am trying to find some dementions. I mostly need to know overall length and how far back the stock shifter sits.

yea i've read that before but it doesn't give any dimentions for any of the tranny's

I'm working on the same thing right now Jeb, Ive got a guy getting me the deminsions for the 05' 3650, and the 02-04 3650.
