blacked out the Chrome on my 94 **Pic Heavy**

Well that was a lesson to never do this until I want to paint the whole car...took close to 5 hours lastnight, and what a PITA....But looks awesome, I used self etching primer & then trim paint..I love this look a lot more....Now I just need Geno's cobra R hood:shifty:

We're twins, besides the fact that my rocker panel trim is peeling because maaco screwed up a lil, and your car is just sexier all around, but kinda twins!

looks good... i have extra trim and a grill that im taking to the body shop this week to get it all painted black... mine will be all blacked out except the chrome around the windows. .im leaving that to accent my rims

looks great! What kind of prep did you do before primer? Grats on a job well done!

I used 250 grit then went to 600 then 1500 wet final, then just the rattle can Etching Primer, and then the final trim paint.
I have to pull the trim in the doors tho, I painted it, but today I found some pure shiny black trim to fit in the grooves..

All in all I got a Shiat load of A++ comments tonight driving it around, and quite a few people were writing down the LVC address too:) PLUGGIN' for ya Joey:)

my 93 will be the same way except im painting the whole car at once, but im even doing around the windows too, murdered out!!!!! thats the look im going for, sorry, its a southern term for all black lol.

looks good, tint the windows and it would really be mean looking!
I just left the chrome around my windows.

That was actually the exact term used to describe mine the guy at maaco loved how it came out, and yeah I didn't even notice not leaving the door trim chrome, I actually love the chrome around the window.
