I'm thinking of getting a mid 90's Lincoln...

Any recommendations? I'm giving a serious look at that Continental and the Mark VIII. Do either of these cars have any major flaws? How's the room inside? Thanks for any help.

Now I'm starting to lean towards the Town Car.
Damn, these are nice looking cars.

Depends what you need and what you want. Four doors or two doors, horsepower to no power. hahahaha

Four doors sounds good (goodbye Mark VIII), my main focus is comfort. I have a long daily commute and I need to be comfortable. Horsepower is a good idea, could always use some extra speed. Reliability and dependability are another main focus. Do these cars have something common that goes wrong? Do these cars burn through trannys or anything?

I recommend staying away from continentals. Towncars are very luxurious and have an excellent ride. If I had my way I would have a 97-98 Mark
VIII. I love how when you sit in the drivers seat it feels like your in a cockpit. Everything is centered around the driver. I also like the huge brakelight in the back, 290hp isn't bad either. Let us know what you decide. Also, in my opinion, the transmissions are strong, it depends on how you take care of them. Everybody knows that heat destroys trannys. I've got 204,500 original miles on the AOD in my towncar. Mark VIII trannys are supposed to be stronger than an AOD.
