The real answer to transmission shudder is to completely drain all of the fluid including the torque converter and reservice it with Mercon 5 like the factory TSB's state.

The pistons and spring have nothing to do with the shudder, the shudder comes complelty from the TC.

plus, if you get one of those 50 cent transistors that are sold for $30 on ebay (with $15 shipping to cover the 41 cent stamp) you could add another, what, 75 horsepower for your shudderless car..then, buy that hydrogen/atomic thingy for less than $1000 and get, like, 100 miles a gallon. Maybe develop some kind of water-ballon suspension to replace the troublesome air ride-there is NO END to the get-rich-quick schemes.:bsflag:
