Just bought a 98 mark 8 LSC. She only has 44,000 miles on her. I'd like to up her performance some but not any major motor work. Any suggestions?

I would go with gears, exhaust and chip to start with. Not major mods, but will get you on your way. Also, I would look into getting a shift kit as well. I would change the fluid out with Mercon V (Mercon V ONLY!) and purchase a Baumann Engineering shift kit (has 5 different levels......had mine on the highest, and was TOTALLY impressed). Also with the shift kit I would recommend a higher stall torque convertor......hope that helps a bit..... :Beer
