Has anyone changed the power steering for the Mark VIII? I was looking at it & it seems easy.... I have been adding fluid for 3 straight months to the pump & I see an oil spill under the car... I though it might be a hose that is leaking but I don't see the leak so I'm assuming it's the pump.... Any suggestions?

The pump is no harder on a Mk 8 than any other car. Make sure the clamps on the return line are tight.

its 4 bolts, 3 easy to get to, the fourth get yourself a 10mm (i think they were 10mm......) ratchet wrench.....i dont even know why i put the 4th one back on, lolol

Try changing your reserve hose. Very simple change and it was the culprit of my PS leak. Hasn't leaked one drop in nearly a year but before the hose change, I was adding PS fluid the same as you.

Total time to fix the hose was about 10 minutes.
