Trans leak, gaskets?

I know this's been covered a couple times but I didn't find the exact info I was looking for.,

I have a major leak, comes out half as fast as it goes in.

To save time and future headaches..

Should I get the dipstick o ring from ford? Special one that's better for any reason?

How about pan gasket? Original's probably the best? Buy from ford, napa, where?

Front seal? Where to buy?

Where to buy new trans filter?

Expected prices?

Thanks guys!

First find out exactly where the leak is coming from. I just spent quite a bit of money on labor to change out the o-ring on the dipstick tube and the pan gasket only to find out it's also leaking a bit from the front seal, I basically wasted my money.

For the trans gaskets I would go with oem motocraft parts. For the filter I use wix, around $15 from Oreily's.

If you pay shipping you can have my Napa pan gasket for free, it came with their filter kit and I ended up using an OEM gasket.

Those cork gaskets that come with the filters are pure junk compared to the oem reusable gasket.
