Hello,
I have a part on my passenger side window that seemed to have broke. The window stopped going up all the way, causing it to whistle etc etc. So I took the door apart and here is what I have. I dont know what part it is, or where to find a replacement.
Seems the plastic peice broke off.

And now to fix my rattly drive side mirror!. It shakes a little bit to music etc.

So far no parts store has what I need. Might have to go to the junk yard and pull from an older Lincoln / merc?

IIRC that looks like part of the window regulator.

Kinda figured that. But would not want to buy a whole new unit.. possibly can find a part at junk yard. Im going to keep calling around for the part =/

Ya, I was looking around at junk yards too for a while, but the only LS I came across had the same broken piece.

hah ouch sorry to hear that buddy,
I wouldnt think that the LS has its own Unique part for the window.. I would assume can get one VERY similar from newer Lincoln with electric windows...
Anyone have idea's? Its pretty much just the plastic that is broken off, thats it.

What door is it, Front passenger or rear passanger?
In my case its the front passenger door. From the looks I need the window regulator assembly. Dont need the motor.

good to hear, but just for the record, last week my drivers side broke just like yours cuz my window was froze shut. i paid 140 for a new one and all the plastic on the old one was metal on the new one.

Interesting!
Could be it was a flaw in the design, and they decided to go back to the metal moving parts as seen on the town cars etc.
