Clockspring or Connector or Both??

Okay, so my 3-2 light has been on for a while and my steering wheel buttons are also acting up, like if you push the volume down it goes up and if you hit seek sometimes it'll switch media, all very random. So, I figured the clockspring is bad. Well, I noticed a while back that my seat heater doesn't work either, so I wonder if that yellow connector under the seat is bad. Any suggestions?

I'd say-Clock Spring. I need to change mine too.

I don't believe the seat heater is controlled by the box below the seat, or atleast I thought I read that somewhere on here. Do either of the seat heaters work? Does the light come on?

The passenger works fine and the light comes on when you push the button, but my butt never gets warm.

Yeah, they probably aren't related. I guess I should probably just spend the $100 and get a new clockspring and get it done. Man, I don't want to mess with the airbag and crap.

Replacement is an easy job. Took me a hour. You disconnect the battery to discharge everything. The airbag is two screws and a little connector, comes right out. I let the battery disconnected for 30 minutes to be safe with the air bag. Pretty simple, just take your time, its a tight fit under the steering wheel. Put it all back together, reconnect battery.:)
