Look at his legacy now.
Lost the House and the Senate for the first time in 50 years.
He was impeached.
He was banned from practicing law.
He failed to recognize the re-emerging threat of radical Islam, despite the attacks on the WTC, the U.S. Cole, the embassies, and.... depending on the theory, Oklahoma City.
And his wife got crushed in the primary, and he contributed to the defeat.

The legacy gets worse as we gain the perspective to view it with hindsight and as time passes.
