As you guys know I put some aftermarket HID's in my 95, We did my friend's 94 last night & here are some pics.

You will see that one of the pics look bluish in color, that's right after they were turned on, the next pic is very white after they had warmed up for a couple of seconds. The last pic is at the Sonic (we were hungry!)

Also just a little info here.

My housings are almost new & still throw the beams even with the HID's, His housings came with the car, we opened them up & cleaned them the best we could. We also puy some chrome tape inside because of the burnt factory chrome reflectors, Anyways Because of his housings are not as shiny inside they don't throw the 'beams' & actually look better IMO. They light up the road more evenly. I'm sure that he will chime in as well as he has figured his password out! LOL.:p

size 9005 HID

Cool, I did mine last weekend. I'm totally pleased with the result. I had the HIR's and put them in the High beams and the Hids in the low with the Autodynamic relay harness. I went with the Japanese ebayer and I was very happy with the shipping and quality of the kit. I recommend this to any Gen I owner who is sick of driving with blinders on.

Funny, I too had the HIR's in my low beams before & also put them in my high beams now. Those HIR's don't even start to compare to the HID's!

Seriously, in the past when I first got the car I almost ran into a couple of various things at night on dark roads. Not anymore! :p Those little reflective dots on the road really light up too!:)

I'll be doing this for sure!

How well do the brights and the low's match when they are both on?

I had no idea that they got rid of the frito chilli pie. Haven't had one in a long time. The frito burrito just don't sound too good. We have Sonics everywhere here in Vegas, It's just not the same as visiting one in a small town though. I remember years ago we drove to Oklaholma & we stopped to eat at a Sonic. It was in a very small town & just seemed to be very friendly. Oh well, memories...

I LOVE Sonic! First time i went to one, took me and the wife a while to work out what to do! Lol. Some round here serve on skates, and my local one is next door to a strip club! :shifty:
On another note, im still waiting for my darn HID kit - ordered it on the 11 and according to the tracking number, its still in Ca! So much for 3 day shipping... Should be this week now though.

Not sure who you purchased your kit from, but my 1st HID kit arrived very quickly, The second one took almost 2 weeks & a bunch of BS stories from the seller. I think they had too many people & not enough comunication between them. it did finally arive though.

Was the same seller as you guys. I think they got confused and thought they had sent it when they hadn't. Their email responses made no sense! Lol. Still, all good now. Kit came, was well packaged etc. :)
