I would like to know if anybody has put the thx/nav system in their LS. I have the factory alpine, and i would like to have the nav system...does it just hook right in the same as my alpine, or do i need a new wiring harness too... any suggestions on what i should do. I want to have a nav system without having to put in one of those awful gps units that i have to find somewhere to mount.

I do not think you can just drop it in as the THX Nav came out for the 2003 and later models...

Don't forget about the 'brain' box usually located in the trunk just forward of the decklid and the GPS antenna... who knows where they hid that but on the 04 there is a big mess of stuff mounted to the front window by the rear view mirror that could pass for a GPS antenna.

Any type of audio deck should be able to fit, it just requires a little know how and custom fabrication (mounts, faceplate, wiring, amps).
