Both of these are stainless and fit snug in my Gen1 bumper cutouts. Can't decide if I want the muscle long pipes or the sleeper stock tips. Help me out.

Option 1: 18" long(?), slant cut, straight edge. They're badass but maybe too obnoxious? I haven't seen many 8's with long pipes like these. They're popular on the 7's though.

Option 2: I think these are off an AMG Benz. They fit perfectly in the oval cutout so I bought them. Rolled tips. Stock looking but much shinier. But am I redoing my whole exhaust to look stock anyway??

My current exhaust is 2.5" catback with two LMS mufflers w/ dual tips. The new exhaust is 2.5" with this single Magnaflow 2in/2out.

Well, i counted my dads vote for the stock lookin ones. He says: "those belong on a boat! they are redneck, or for a mustang. these oval ones are sharp!" but thats his opinion. whats yours ?

Go with the oval tips...

The megaphones I had and didn't like them.... With that Magnaflow those ovals will look good and leave a nice ending note...

ovals... those long tips look somewhat like what I have on my truck (except mine are rolled)... looks good on a lifted 4x4 out the back corners... Just can't see it on a Mark though...

i got long tips, ive seen another VIII with them too.....they look awesome, ive had many people tell me they look awesome :)

I was in your situation last year when i bought my 96. When I did the exhaust on my 95, I wanted something real aggressive, so went with truck tips 3.5". (car on the left)

When I got the 96 I wanted to do something a little more conservative. I went with magnaflow polished SS ovals. Dimentionally they are the same as stock, just more bling. Unless you know what your looking at, they look stock, which is the way I wanted it.

The long pipes look like they should be on a truck. i honestly dont like either...

those ovals are bad a$$.. they fit all snug... and are soo sleak looking...

long slanted ones! Two different Mark VIII's with em.

The other ones look nice but don't say muscle IMO.

What I found out with the long tips was that I had more drone in the back seat.

It was like running with the stock mufflers cut off and the exhaust dumping right at the rear wheels.. Too loud in the car for me.

I went with the ovals. Pics when its done. The car is on the lift now.
