February 16th, 2008, 02:36 PM
yeah i had twosets of ecsta's, wanted to change it up a bit, plus the last set i had for some reason only lasted 15,000 miles. And yes they were balanced, aligned, checked, tested, inflated, deflated, sliced and diced. I figured $100 dollars more ill try the toyos

yokohomo (sp?) AVS100

not too expensive and they seem good to me! A bit noisy but no biggy; it's nothing too bad.

You do know you can turn that off right?

I'm runnin Coopers, nobody try them, they suck. Good for burnouts though!
Got a pair of Continental ContiTouringContact CH95s for free. I had the same kind on my Cadillac and liked them, so Ill see how they hold up on the LS and if they're any better than the Coopers (I hope so) I'll get a full set in the spring.

Durex too.
Falken ZE-912 Stock tire size but I like falkens, had the ZE-512's on last car. Can get the ZE-912's for $89+S&H+mount & bal. come to rough 125 each tire. And the 245/35/20 ZE-912's I plan on using is $104+S&H+mount & bal. I use edgeracing.com

Goodyear ResponseEdge, ran 800 with the discount tire roadhazard warranty. They are great compared to the $300 cheapos I had on there before, but the tread design is a little weird so they actually howl on certain road surfaces, very strange lol.

that is a weird tread but i am assuming the left side is the outer part, correct. These toyos are smooth and quiet, after the stickers finally came off.

Nitto 555- 245/35/20
Got them put them on yesterday. I had Bridgestone RE050A Pole Positions and was time to switch. I really liked the Bridgestone's. I was gonna use Falken 452's but they were out of stock.

Same here, 17in though, I've had them for a thousand miles and couldn't be happier. They're quiet and have great grip in the wet.

nope first thing i looked at, they actually say left and right on the sidewall. if you look at the tire close, you can see which dirrection the arrows or points are going in.

Toyo Proxes T1R's. 235/50/17's. So far, so good. Been about 10k miles. Absolutely no road noise or howl. Great summer tire, and does great in the rain.
