Awhile ago my left lowbeam quite. Shortly after that, the right side died as well. The dealer quoted a price of $2k to fix the problem, which I declined to do. Now I have the opportunity to get two complete headlight assemblies to replace the burned out ones. Is this going to fix the problem, or is there something else I need to be on the lookout for?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My lowbeam on the driver side quit about a year ago. I found a replacment HID lamp for $150 I believe on FordPartsNetwork.com I didn't need an assembly or anything like that.
