We went to the Chicago auto show today. I was very excited to see the 2009 Lincoln MKS, but in my opinion the LS is soo much better of a car. The exterior grill, they called them "wings",just didn't do it for me. and the rims look somewhat cheap. I talked with the Lincoln guy who was doing his speal about the car, and even he thought the LS was a much better car. He says rear wheel drive Lincolns are not coming back. The MKR I think it's called is the new suv type car has this wierd looking center console that stretches from the front of the car to the back seat. Only looked cool if you wanted to roll stuff back to your rear passengers. Anyhoo, just thought I'd share. Sure, some of y'all will dig it, but unfortunatly I'm not one that does.

I saw both at the auto show in detroit (its the MKT btw). I liked the MKS, and while its sad that rear wheel drive is going, i guess i can live with all wheel drive.

I went on Saturday. I like it myself but it does suck that it's not RWD.

Maybe that will change beofre production. It looks a little better in person but the contrast is pretty drastic. Besides that it looks very nice.

very Japanese looking - not a bad thing - but it will take some time for me to think of it as a lincoln....

That front end is too stumpy looking.
