ill be in second and itll go into third.. stay in third then ill feel it switch back to second and back to third really quick.. its always kinda been a little jerky but i thought ls' always had bad trannys in the 1st place.. cars got less than 35k on it and its never been wrecked. is this normal for an ls? ive got a lifetime powertrain warranty on the car.. so im not too worried.. just curious to know what this could be?

mine does the same thing, been doing it since i bought it. find the thread titled "3rd to 2nd in SST" or pretty close along those lines. once i read it, it explained it all. the ls trans is a 3 speed with 2 overdrives so the 3-2 shifts take a little longer. for some reason the search function isnt working for me right now.

We have good trannys.... its just that people beat on them alot and think they are race cars.... Im pretty sure they wouldnt of put a crappy tranny in the 05+ mustangs.

Your right, my tranny doesn't make any kind of noise. You may have a problem, it's under warranty so have the dealer look into it.
