Wiper sensor update

So I forgot to post this a couple days ago. For those of you who read my post about my wipers not activating when i squirt washer fluid, this is the update.

Dave2000ls had the same problem and said all he had done was fill up his reservoir. Easy enough! There must be a certain point from when the wipers wont activate and when the low washer fluid level warning comes on.

Thats all. Problem Eliminated.

Gotta love those easy and sometimes stupid fixes.

 nice fix!

But that's dumb, when the washer level is low it still squirts but won't wipe it off?

I noticed the same thing. But I think it disables the autowiper feature altogether when the low fluid message comes up because if you run out of fluid on the road, and you are driving in rainy/snowy/dirty mucky conditions, and the autowipers start wiping, it will smear up the windsheild with no way of cleaning cuz you have no fluid. So to aviod a potential hazzard, it just turns off the auto part. You can still manually turn them on. So it seems to be a safety feature. A pretty smart one at that. IMHO.
