I want to keep the exhaust system stock (for now) but i want a little more rumble on the outside ( it sounds nice insede after i took out the air sci and resovuar:spelling:), so i was thinking about taking out the resonator in the exhaust. could anyone give me a heads up on doing this procedure? Also does anyone know how it sounds without it, or even better have sound clips of it?

MRWILSON I removed the 3rd cat and resonator from mine and I have to admit it was way more work than it was worth, no real noticeable difference in its performance or sound. I only did it in hopes to give a little more agressive sound.

how long did it take you and what did you need to put in place of it?

what I did is cut out the old from the cats ,unbolt from the cat back , then used 2 1/4 u bend from jegs made a two into one collector into 2 1/2 straight welded the old flange onto it then weld the other end to the cats or (downpipes) then reinstalled . It is alot of work for little or nothing ,but that is only my opinion.
