I've only had this 95 MK8 3mons. "cherry" 41,000 IMMACULATE IN EVERY WAY. I can't turn the radio OFF by re-pushing VOLUME KNOB. It goes off when I turn off key and open the door. It worked OK for 2-1/2 mons. Is there a reset or WHAT??? I can just TURN IT DOWN,,but I like things to work.

sorry to be the barer of bad news, but the only fix is either replace it or go to the dealer and pay a arm and a leg to have it repaired. at my job (dealership, yup im one of them) to send in a radio (most dont do in house repair) is a flat fee depending on what radio it is, so if its something simple or something complex its all the same price, usually in the $200-$300 range. WAY CHEAPER to just buy a aftermarket radio for $100
