have you guys seen these new bazooka bass tubes?turborich January 28th, 2008, 02:31 AM They look like a NOS bottle & have a 8" sub in them. What do you guys think??? yeah or neah? mespock January 28th, 2008, 07:15 AM Now that's interesting... How many Ricers would put that in and then try to so it off as having NOS... LOL.. Where did you find them? unity January 28th, 2008, 09:40 AM They must have some awful sound it they are too embarrassing to show! lol mafioso January 28th, 2008, 01:18 PM They have been around for a while, they really dont sound bad, if you need a little more bass, just dont expect GREAT results with them. MatthewDavid January 28th, 2008, 05:12 PM Wierd I put a reply and it's not here... but yeah SAS makes pretty good stuff... I've seen their other bass tubes... my friend had a 10 and it hit pretty hard... it's kinda nice too cause they're really easy to install... but the bass out of a tube isn't the tightest... but it does hit hard for the size of the enclosure and footprint... if you're just looking to fill your sound out I'm sure an 8 would suffice but it don't think you're gonna get comp sound out of a 8... and these NOS tubes have been around for a year or so and I guess they're pretty good... they're just camouflaged... a lot of my friends back home make their boxes look like tool boxes to keep would be thieves from stealing their stuff mafioso January 28th, 2008, 05:22 PM Wierd I put a reply and it's not here... but yeah SAS makes pretty good stuff... MatthewDavid January 28th, 2008, 06:59 PM Yeah... you'd be surprised how well it works... and all you really need is a little paint and if you get really fancy one of them took an old tool box apart and used the front and top siliconed all the loose parts so it wouldn't rattle and just fastened them to the parts you see... the other side had the sub and amp... couldn't tell by lookin through the window of his jeep... chickenviii January 28th, 2008, 08:19 PM these NOS tubes have been around for a year or so and I guess they're pretty good... they're just camouflaged... a lot of my friends back home make their boxes look like tool boxes to keep would be thieves from stealing their stuff only thing is if some one would steal your subs, they would steal a nitrous bottle turborich January 28th, 2008, 10:10 PM Now that's interesting... Kevin O'Connell January 28th, 2008, 10:57 PM Bazooka rocks! A buddy of mine has a Nissan truck with 2 10" bazookas in it- we got stopped by the cops for noise. For a small space, they make lotsa thump. They make several sizes too. turborich January 29th, 2008, 12:06 AM I had a Bazooka 10" bass tube with a Pioneer 760 watt amp & it rocked for what it was. I never saw the NOS style though. They also have a diving/oxygen style bass tube for watercraft too! nJust thought it was kinda cool. | ||||
