where is the switch to control door ajar...

wtf NOOB lol its inside the latch, spray in the latch with wd40

i tried that already.. it didnt work so i figured maybe its not in the latch...:rolleyes:

prob the switch went bad, or a wire to it, dont cry devil child, if you unplug the switch and the ajar light goes out then the switch is bad

the door ajar light doesnt come on.... but the interior dome light and floor lights wont go out and the car chimes as if the door is open and you left the keys in

that might be the "key in reminder" switch on the ignition cyl. pop out the cyl and see if the contacts on the little plastic thing are making contact with the key out. not sure if this would cause the interior lights stay on or not, but its worth a try

ill correct my earlier statement...

it only chimes with the keys in the ignition and not started..door closed

floor and dome lights stay on when keys are removed...

im thinking its the latch itself.. ive never replaced one of these..so how hard is it??..

4 metal rods, 3 big assed screws, not too bad but if you bend the rods your screwed. first unplug the switch and see if they go out, if not it sounds like a short.
