xarruda89x January 14th, 2008, 10:01 PM Alright, I'm thinking of getting chrome pillars on my car, in the spring i have to buff the pillers anyway because the color is fading or something, i tried some wax solutions but worked a little .. But anyway, I'm thinking of getting it chrome, what you guys think of it? waste of money?
NYC LS8 January 14th, 2008, 10:07 PM Don't like the look myself. Looks cheesy, IMO. I prefer the tint and all black around the windows look.
Your car, do what you like....forget what we think.

xarruda89x January 14th, 2008, 10:17 PM Ya know, 35% tint, a lot of people have it, its almost having no tint at all right? I used to have 20% on my other car, never got pulled over, I'm thinking of going 35% on the LS, i can't offerd another problem with the insurance company, i'm already paying up the ass for it lol
I think 35% with black interior, is perfect, but i have grey. meh ... lol
And yeah, it was just a thought, i do like the black on the pillars though, i just need to buff it.
NYC LS8 January 14th, 2008, 10:32 PM 35% looks darker with the dark interior. People think it's darker than it is all the time. I can see out of it just fine. Now my 92 LSC, I had 20% on it and at night trying to park was a royal PITA. I'm past that stage of wanting real dark windows. I just wanted something to keep the car classy looking. Again, this is all my opinion. :)

EmpireSix January 15th, 2008, 08:27 AM chrome pillars are tight, but you should get some spinners and the chrome fender things to really set them off.
gcwimmer January 15th, 2008, 10:17 AM Take a look at these at Lskoncepts:

pwr2killayak January 17th, 2008, 06:20 PM cf door pillars for the win...
KD00LS January 18th, 2008, 07:23 AM I wouldn't. Use a claybar and some polish and restore the ones on there now.
xarruda89x January 18th, 2008, 09:56 AM Yeah I might just do that
Z'sLS January 18th, 2008, 10:13 AM I have them and I like them but I also have a upper and lower grill so it all goes together
eastcoastLS January 18th, 2008, 10:40 AM no chrome pillars please. the faded black ones look better than the chrome ones. when i first got my car i wanted those so bad but quickly realized it was a no no. they do look super cheesy if you ask me. i just sport the faded oem junk pillars.
