i tried to loook up that name but it says that its invalid. i checked the ebay link but it doesnt say if its a lsc computer. does it make a difference.

he spelled my name wrong, no it doesnt matter lsc or not, what matters is the code. tell me what yours says and i will check, i have 50 + computers.

You can use any Mark VIII OBD II computer of the right part number. The software can be easily reprogrammed by a dealer, an independent shop, or you can even do it yourself with a fairly inexpensive tool. I know there were a few revisions to the code on my Mark VIII's software that we had the dealer do back during warranty time.

ok so i did some searching on here and heard of guys putting 93 comps in thier gen 1's....can a 93 also be put into a 98? and would anything have to be changed as far as fuel rails,maf...or whatever?

A 93 comp would not work in a 96+ due to being obd 2.
