burnt eggs or rotten eggs (sulfur smell)?
if rotten eggs it could be a problem with the exhaust system.

Old rule of thumb back in my days were rotten egg smell was due to clogged Cat Convertor. Not sure if this still applies however. But it could also explain the engine miss if the exhaust is plugged up.

Sulfur smell comes from raw fuel in the exhaust. Probably a side effect of your misfire. Fix that and the sulfur smell should go away.
