I was just wondering if anyone know if the newer style headlights fit into the older model LS's. I like the clear corner they have factory and because I don't feel like splitting mine apart. Thanks

Will the 03 and up headlights fit in my 2000?SlickLS December 15th, 2007, 12:16 AM I was just wondering if anyone know if the newer style headlights fit into the older model LS's. Thanks blackls December 15th, 2007, 12:31 AM i know the bulb arrangement is different, but as far as physical fit of the unit i dont know. there are HID kits for 00-02 if that's your goal try this http://www.lskoncepts.com/store/lighting-lincoln-c-285_295.php bklene50 December 15th, 2007, 12:42 AM There's a thread about this floating around here somewhere. I'll see if I can find it for you and repost. As far as I remember though it can be done, I believe there is a mounting bracket that needs to be installed, and it will not fit perfectly flush with the bumper. bklene50 December 15th, 2007, 12:46 AM http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=22282&highlight=03+headlight+retrofit SlickLS December 15th, 2007, 12:57 AM I am not doing it for the HID's....I like that it doesn't have a piece of orange plastic on the inside. Everything has the diamond-cut background. I already have a HID setup on the headlights and foglights. If it won't fit flush then I will just have to open mine and take out the orange piece but that is a last resort union807trucker December 16th, 2007, 05:07 PM   if u take that little piece out from the headlamp then post how u did it because im going through the same thing i wanna throw some yellow bulbs to macth my fogs but i cant because of that orange crap. i heard to just throw them in the oven but i doubt that will work. bklene50 December 16th, 2007, 09:04 PM The oven trick works on the headlights with grey sealant. | |||||
