After a winter of suffering with a cold car, I decided to fix my bend door. I was really just dreading taking the dash apart. Yesterday I had nice weather, so I decided to go ahead and get started. For those of you who haven't done it, it really isn't that hard. Just time consuming. It goes quicker when you have a buddy to help you.

None the less, you have still earned a merit badge. There are many Mk owners out there that wouldnt attempt that job.

I agree. Most people dread the blend door as well as the heater core. Hopefully I will never have to find out.

Hey The 93 Mark VIII does have the blend door problem right? I would really like to fix it. Did you by any chance take pictures?

I think I might be doing a heater core sooner or later. The dummy who had my Mark had put water in the cooler system and it froze and messed everything up, prolly hurt the heater core.
Post up any tips of tricks you gained!

Yes, the 93 does have the blend door problem as well. Unfortunately the blend door for the 93 is a little bit different, and I was unsuccessful in finding a replacement for it. It does emit a little heat. Try turning up to 90 and see how hot it blows.
