Thinking about buying a new LS

Hey guys, I recently came across an 04 V8 for about 28K, anyone know what kind of RWHP these motors put out? I'm looking for a daily driver to compliment my Camaro.

Also? I heard they reworked the kinks for 03+ models, is there anything I need to lookout for the 03+ models?

Yes.. But I was more specifically referring to horsepower at the wheels? Any insight on this
