Hi there, new person to forum. COuld you please tell me where to look for (if I have?) the block heater and the plug in on a 2000 LS. The snow is to deep to get underneath. Thanks a lot. Carole Oh, where or is there a good service manual that I can get for this car that is not on a disc.

try ebay. I don't see one on there right now though. Also, try your local auto store, they usually have a few copies. Don't expect it to be cheap though.

My block heater plug in is located in the lower grille. I can't fit my extension cord into it though. I'm wondering if there is another piece that fits in there that extends the plug out farther.

Anyone?

i'm not sure if it's just me but i found a cord in the spare tire well of my ls which i can only assume would have been for a block heater, check maybe u might have one there too!!

I would doubt that is a block heater.... Maybe something for the battery?

No, i think he's saying that the separate cord that plugs into the outlet in the bumper was stored in the spare tire well. I looked there and couldn't find mine.
