Burning Smell from Vents

Hola fellow suckers,

When I bought my LS about a year ago I had it for a few months and had to take it in because of a leaky valve cover flooded my ports with oil and who knows what else. That was about 700 bucks. Well a couple of days ago I started smelling a burning smell coming out of the drivers side a/c heater vent. Got out and smelled under the hood, and it was only on the drivers side. Yada yada yada. Many of you told me it would be a leaky valve cover, but I doubted it b/c I had it replaced already, and the smell wasn't oil, it was like rubber. Well you were all right! Valve cover on the passenger side was never replaced originially. The burning rubber was the valve seal. 245 bucks and I get her back tomorrow.

Hope this helps anyone wanting to know about prices.
