Battery December 5th, 2007, 07:26 PM Search is a great tool. That being said this has been discussed through and through. devilchild December 5th, 2007, 09:15 PM haha.. yeah.. i dont search either.. no patience for it... dont worry .. someone will be kind enough to reply with the info youre looking for kustomizingkid December 5th, 2007, 09:52 PM People have installed headers, beyond that question about how good they are performance benefits is a lot of opinions. Easy is not a word that comes to mind when thinking of installing them, there a bitch from what I hear. You will prolly have to drop the k frame to install them. slickemhoundd December 5th, 2007, 11:44 PM Lets just say no you cant do it with out pulling the motor and for the several hundreds of dollars you pay you will get about 9 hp. Its not much but its not somethin to take your motor out to only do. If your motor is out for any reason then you could toss them on as a what the hell kinda thing JMiles_T December 6th, 2007, 06:09 PM You can get room to work by dropping the front subframe, and hanging the engine from the top using an engine support bar. unity December 6th, 2007, 09:27 PM I personally would just go with better manifolds. Either way you will need custom exhaust. For $50 to $100 you can get a set of used Cobra manifolds, preferably 2003/04. driller December 6th, 2007, 09:47 PM ...and for the several hundreds of dollars you pay you will get about 9 hp. I actually estimated about 15 RWHP. My best ET was a 13.866@100.36 before the headers and I ran 13.545@101.43 after the headers. They may not be the best bang for the buck but it's a pretty decent bang none the less. ;) | |||||
