These are my chioces:
1) The 1956 Cadillac Coupe DeVille/1957 Lincoln Continental Mark II
2) The 1961 Lincoln Continental Convertible/The 1964 Cadillac DeVille Convertible
3) The 1977-79 Lincoln Mark V (Givenchy edition, especially)
The 1977-79 Cadillac Coupe DeVille

OK, for 1946-1960 I would have to say for the Cadillac it would be the 1958 Eldorado Brougham. Had the stainless roof and I believe suicide doors. For the Lincoln it would be the Mark II.

For 1961-1970, 1969 Lincoln Mark III and 1962 Cadillac Fleetwood, and Eldorado.

For 1971-1980, I like the Mark V's and the Cadillac Eldorado but from 1971 to 1973.

My choices would be:
59 caddy convertible/ 56 continental MKII/ 59 Continental MKIV convertible.
62 Caddy convertible/ 61 Continental convertible.
76 Caddy Eldorado convertible/ 78 MK V Diamond Jubilee Edition.
Of cource, I am very partial to convertibles.

I'd have to go with VetteGal's choices. Of course, I'm partial to convertibles and Mark IIs.

That is easy to answer.
8 MPG and being able to put the top down.

That's my vote for the 46-60

My vote for the 61-70 is gonna be a continental, probably a 66 or thereabouts

and my vote for 71-80 is the 77 Conti (77 specifically because it's the only year to combine the 75-77 interior with the 77-79 exterior)

Of the three listed here, the 77 is my favorite. I the 80's it's the any one of the 80-88 Sedan Deville/Fleetwoods and in the 90's it's the 98-2002 Town Car followed closely by the 93-96 Fleetwood....

see my 8 threads in the anything goes forum comparing a particular lincoln vs a particular caddy. there's one for the 60's-90's flagships and one for the 60's-90's non-flagships..

You like the 77 interior?

Yeah. The 78-79 interior is nice, don't get me wrong, but I don't like it as well as the 75-77, which incidentally is quite similar, virtually identical to the 1970 Dash, so it's got some history too..
