im doing the clockspring on the steering wheel and when I loosened the horn the 4 springs popped out and went on the floor. So I have 2 shorter gold ones and 2 longer silver ones. can anyone tell me which go on top and bottom? thanks...

The shorter springs are located at the lower mounting holes of the metal bracket (shaped like an upside-down U) and the longer ones are at the top.
