I need some axle info that I have not been able to find any place on the net. I am trying to decode the axle tag information.

S441A
3L27 880M20

I know that 3L27 is 3:27 limited slip

and the 88 is for 8.8

I need to know what S441A is for and 0M20 is.

Any help would be apreciated

No idea on S441A - Only FLM knows or cares. Probably the entire axle assembly with ends.

I not used to avoid confusion with numeral 1.

Don't know what year axle your looking at but it was manufactured on
2 Dec 1980, 1990 or 2000.

I hope that is close to the DOM for your car.

Now I just need to find out which year. Tha axle I have was removed for me from a junk yard and I need more info for brake parts.
