First off.....:W to the LvC....glad you decided to jump on in.

As for choosing a car....I would have to recommend a Mark VIII....since I am partial to them, and I have owned 3 of them. The most common problems with the Mark VIII have to be the suspension, and the headlights (on the gen 1's that is). It only has about a 10 year life expectancy and will need to be replaced, but the good thing is being a member of this site you get a discount at several vendors of the site. I have only owned gen 1's (93-96) so I can not comment on gen 2's (97-98) but they both have their pros/cons. As for the headlights, if you get a gen 1, I would try to find one with HID's....which unfortunately is very difficult to find. The ones that have HID's are the LSC's after 1995 (LATE 95 that is). I hope that helps a bit......I could go on, but like I said....I am partial to them. There is also plenty of help on this board for not only the Mark VIII's, but most of the cars you mentioned.

Good luck with your purchase, and let us know if you need any help with what ever it is you purchase. :Beer

Thanks everyone... I do like the Mark VIII, I have the cobra motor in my car now. The Mark I would def have to make into a true "old man" sleeper car. A nice Forged motor and a turbo would be great. I just wasnt sure on the handling I want a nice highway cruser that I cna exit the off ramps with at umm a lil faster then the signs posted :Beer
