I own a 93' mk8 and was wondering if you can get a computer "chip" for it, or what exactly i can do for more power of that sort. Could you just find a cobra computer chip(from the mustang) ? I was told onebadmk8 knows about this stuff. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

I got the chip and MAF from LMS and it made my car LOTS more fun to drive.

What do mean by "MAF" and then from "LMS"??

Basically, there is a performance MAF available which would be good combined with a nice intake and the LMS chip.

now when u say "maf" ur talking about the mass air flow sensor or the mass air system? ...because i couldn't find a performance mass air flow sensor on lincolnmotorsports.com.....

He is talking about the whole system, not the sensor.

i just had Geno install the Maf and chip in my 96... i noticed an immediate difference as soon as i left and hit the on ramp.. definitely well worth the money..IMO

now, would i have to get a differant performance mass air flow sensor in order for that system to work? Cause otherwise wouldn't the computer see something isn't working the way it wants to.......or if i get the chip along with the system then the computer will think everything is alright? Sorry, i unfortuanlty dont know to much about this part of the car.
