Hi all, names tony, got a blk on blk MK8 love it to death and baby the thing to death. its got 35k on the clock but i got stupid things goin wrong with it, mabye you guys could help me out:

1. Fuel guage acts up, sometimes i start it up and its got a full tank of gas and it says i got half a tank on the analogue reading and sometimes the message center screws up the reading too.

2. the PNL:FLR button on the climate control seems to short out every once in a while. sometimes it comes on sometimes it doesn't when the lights are on. is it possible to change the bulb behind the climate control w/o buying special tools?

3. the seats also work when they feel like it. sometimes they move, sometimes they don't. once again....any fix?

4. any mods i can do to the car for appearence and performance? any tips and help would be greatly appreciated.

thnx

First Welcome to LvC...

You can use the Search Feature to get many of your questions answered quickly.

People will offer you good advice on those you can't seem to find.

For the electrical it would seem that there may be a possible loose wire.

on the fuel gauge not registering.....mine does the same thing once in a while, i just think it is the gauge in the tank,,not entirely sure though....i usually just turn the ignition on and back off like again if it doesn register, then i start the car.

Not 100% sure but I'd guess it's a sensor.
